Run for Bernie – Saturday, February 8 at 1 pm, Mendelssohn-Bartholdy Park (U2)

Go for a jog around town wearing Bernie shirts!  We’ve been having an awesome time talking about Bernie with people and giving out “Vote from Abroad” flyers. Berlin vs. Amazon is a coalition of activists, tech workers, and artists who are mobilizing against Amazon and the so-called “Amazon Tower.”

The meeting is open to all – both active participants and guests! The goal is to share information about organizing efforts, learn about other initiatives, and discuss an open topic or two. We will give updates on various working groups, important dates, and discuss the upcoming demonstration on February 22.

Bernie Sanders and Socialism in America: Panel and Discussion – Tuesday, February 11 at 7 pm, MaHalle Kiezladen

Germany for Bernie is pairing up with the Jacobin Reading Group to present a panel and discussion. Victor Grossman and other speakers will join us to talk about the Bernie Sanders campaign and socialism in America.

CALL FOR SUPPORTERS throughout Germany to help with the Global Presidential Primary

Want to get involved and find fellow Bernie supporters around you?  We are looking for enthusiastic Bernie supporters throughout Germany to help us organize for the Global Primary.  There are about 170,000 U.S. citizens in Germany and we are hoping to reach as many as possible!  Please check out your local Facebook group or get in touch with us via e-mail and we will be happy to send you flyer prints and whatever else you need to help with your canvassing efforts.

Just as important is our search for Team Bernie poll volunteers and observers who would be stationed throughout Germany at the 29 polling locations.  Please get in touch if you can spare some time at a polling location near you between March 3rd and 10th. We need all hands on deck in order to ensure a fair and transparent voting process during the Global Primary.

DEMOCRATS ABROAD GLOBAL PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY MARCH 3rd – 10th

In 2020 the GPP will be held on March 3rd – March 10th in hundreds of locations worldwide. It is possible to vote per mailin ballot or in-person. Same-day registration is possible.
